A Poem Called “Silence”

Silence,

by theamazinJ

It’s a quiet day,
a day of silence,
a day of mourning,
a day before the fight,
a day before the revolutionary war,
a day before civil unrest,
a day before civil disobedience,
a day to rest,
a day to boycott,
a day to protest,
a day to preserve spoons,
a day to preserve our energy,
a day to preserve the way we react,
a day to think logically,
a day to think rationally,
a day to not think emotionally.
One person cannot change everything,
everyone needs to agree to change,
It’s not I, the people,
It’s We, the People,
the people have spoken,
the people’s voices were silenced,
the voices were not enough against it
because we the people were ungrateful.
We took things for granted,
we allowed a man to push us around instead,
we allowed our hearts to melt,
we did not protect ourselves and our rights,
we became too argumentative and polarized
allowing our emotions to build up against each other,
by allowing a man to blind us with his thinking
allowing some to eventually vote for him
even with being blindfolded.
Some will never understand each other,
some will never understand what led to
the end of our voices being heard,
some will never understand this
and treat the rest of us as non-compliant
to the man who begins his power today.
The man who is named Donald Trump,
the man who set up his clones to
assist him to run the country,
a man who will never learn,
a man who will always think irrationally,
a man who could start a world war,
a man we all need to overthrow,
a man named Donald Trump who angers so many,
a man named Donald Trump who is too selfish,
and a man who is too similar
to too many past evil men in history.
Let’s fight, let’s not be complacent,
let’s begin the revolt,
and let’s begin to speak our voices
until that man is overthrown,
until the government finally listens,
and until we have what we want.
Nothing happens without a war sometimes,
Nothing about us, without us!

A Poem called “A Crying Call for America”

A Crying Call for America,

by theamazinJ

I am sad.
I feel angry.
I feel mad.
My tears are flowing.
America the beautiful,
the America I thought was beautiful,
instead is America the bigoted,
America the ableist,
America the heterosexist,
America the racist,
America the misogynist
America the antisemites
America the islamophobes
I feel sad.
America, I thought you have learned from your past,
America, Why?
America, How could you?
America, the inexperienced
America, How could you be so inexperienced?
America, voting for inexperience in a election?
America, America, the one I thought was so beautiful,
America created the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights,
however, America did not adhere and abide to their own rules,
America needs justice,
America needs our activists like me to fight,
America needs to value everyone
America cannot be hypocritical
America, how dare you be hypocritical?
We are supposed to value each other regardless,
instead we have bigots,
instead we have horrible people running in government
for the next 4 years as president,
for the next 2 years in congress,
America, all its citizens are going to fight,
we are going to fight your bigotry,
we are going to fight your ableism,
we are going to fight your heterosexism,
we are going to fight your racism,
we are going to fight for women,
we are going to fight for jews,
we are going to fight for muslims,
we are going to fight for equal rights for all,
America, we are going to abide by the bill of rights,
America, the first amendment stands as our freedom,
America, we are going to defend ourselves during much needed times,
America, America, America, we will defend the ADA, IDEA, and CIVIL RIGHTS laws,
We will make sure the popular vote is going to adhere for president,
We have every right to do this for HUMAN rights is our CIVIL rights,
Everyone deserves it,
I can only cry for so long before I fight harder than I ever have,
as an activist,
as a change maker,
as a peace maker,
as I ensure every voice counts
and every voice matters as a citizen of this country,
Fight, Fight, Fight
Let’s stop the bigotry once and for all,
Let’s get the most experienced and open minded people in government
Let’s kick out the inexperienced and closed minded,
and most of all,
Let’s create community once and for all,
supporting everyone,
listening to each other,
speaking in settings where every voice is heard,
working side by side with everyone around us,
let’s just make sure disabled people’s lives are valued, consistent, and heard
like any other voice out there,
and let’s identify with whatever intersectional statuses that makes up who we are,
It does not matter if we identify:
as disabled,
as LGBTQIA,
as Straight,
as a woman,
as a man,
as non-binary genders,
as muslim,
as jewish,
as christian,
as black people,
as latin people,
as indigenous people,
as whatever we want to say we are,
because in the end,
we are all human,
we are all living self-determined lives,
we all want to have our own direction in our lives
to do the best we can do for ourselves and the community,
because we are all interdependent,
and all our voices matter,
not just the supremacists,
and as a community,
support matters
even when someone needs benefits and supports from the government,
even when someone does not need these things at the moment,
because we all live interdependently,
we all know disability is part of the human experience,
we all know what we have to do for each other,
we all need support,
we all need are own space,
we all need are own tribe,
we all have our faith regardless of the interpretation,
regardless if we believe in faith or not,
and once again,
America, be beautiful once and for all,
not great, but strong and beautiful,
beautiful in diversity,
beautiful in neurodiversity,
Thank you for everything the founding fathers and everyone else who made the amendments for us,
It’s a good plan,
Stop fighting the plan,
let’s all abide by it and fight for this plan,
Enough said.

We All Need to Look at the WHOLE picture to make Progress!!

Making progress is important when seeing the whole picture. Then and only then are we able to work together on the giant issues at large. Congress, the President, and politicians don’t see the whole picture. A lot of people don’t look at the whole picture. Every one has an agenda that they want to put in place before they think about others. Why? Because that is how our society has grown. The time is now for change.

From Michael Jackson’s Man in the mirror:

I’m Gonna Make A Change,
For Once In My Life
It’s Gonna Feel Real Good,
Gonna Make A Difference
Gonna Make It Right . . .

So, when is society going to make that difference and think about the whole picture for change. I hope Congress and the President think about the people in the United States and not their own agendas. The people is what matters and the frustrations we all have need to end. End the NRA and End the right to own guns. We don’t live in the 18th Century, we live in the 21st Century. We need peace and tranquility. We have had enough of war and violence!! We have had enough of discriminations. We’ve had enough of grief from guns.
Guns not only kill people, they kill animals too!!

Hope your holidays have been Wonderful!

Let Your Voices Be heard so Conversations don’t happen Without Us!

please sign this petition about House Oversight & Government Reform Committee: Include Testimony from Autistic People!!!

I had written a letter to my representatives concerning this matter from Thinking Person’s Guide to Autism post that linked to others like me to write a letter.

From the petition being made,

On November 29, the House Oversight Committee will be holding a hearing on Autism. Of all the groups and individuals represented in testimony on that day, one stakeholder is missing: anyone who is Autistic themselves. The House Oversight Committee must allow Autistic voices to be heard.

Isn’t it important for Autistics like myself to be able to voice our thoughts on issues that affect us?

This is an important issue regarding Civil Rights. I hope any one will understand we have every right to be included in the conversation that affects us.

Please help by signing this petition to not let the conversation in the House of Representatives happen without us!

Please also sign this petition too: PLEASE STOP our healthcare system from denying people with autism organ transplants and their basic human right to life.

Have a great day!

Can Society Finally Be Unified?

People in society can be judgmental. It’s a part of our human nature. Every one is a judge no matter who or where the person comes from and what the person does. Does being judgmental to others solve any problems?

The people in our communities need to finally be unified and move closer to the middle of a thick line we call ‘Society’. People generally hold grudges toward others no matter who the person is, Autistic or NT. There is no doubt about that. There are some NT people out there who are disillusioned, but there are also Autistics out there who feel the same way. Anger does not solve anything, in fact, it just leaves an empty shell and a sour stomach. When people become too angry, their emotions become way too strong no matter if the person has a disability or not. Every one’s mind works similar with different wiring. There are some Neurotypicals and Autistics who think in black and white, but not all. It’s important to see the gray.

We need to all understand our own human nature to be able to know what makes us tick and what makes us not. A lot of people don’t understand that our community is divided by very different points of view. For example, there are the parents of Autistics and their allies called the Autism community; and, the Autistics and their allies called the Autistic community who believe in the Neuro-Diversity disability rights movement. On either side there are two different sets of people in every community even in politics.

In politics in the U.S.A., the 2 different sides are Democrats and Republicans. Neither side has pushed themselves forward. All sides may think they have, but in reality they have not.

One small baby step toward the thick line eases the anger just a little bit. It’s time to make more progress in the communities we all live in!

There are quite a number of us who are moving forward, but most of us have not. In fact, the people that have not are overly judgmental and critical toward each other. A lot of these people on all sides yell or scream or chant. If there really is going to be an Acceptance for Human nature, then why can’t every one start moving forward.

Society was drawn a thick line in the middle to make sure the world does not fall a part. However, it’s been tough getting everyone to gravitate toward the thick line. An example of this sort of dispute toward the middle is the U.S. Government which has to try to come to a bipartisan agreement before society falls a part and jumps a fiscal cliff by the end of the year. I realize this is happening all over the world as well. No one is happy. That is how war begins. We can still prevent it from happening.

In a nutshell, we all need to come to agreements that will benefit society from not falling in to the deep end and becoming nothing more than a empty shell floating endlessly in space.

I understand that there are reasons why all of us should be angry. Fortunately, we can reason and use our free will wisely. Too many people everywhere are stubborn. Some people think it is just an Autistic trait, but really every one can be stubborn. Flexible thinking is a learned trait every one needs to comprehend.

All of us need to adapt to each other. We all need to ease our anger, be flexible, leave the judging behind us, stop whining, help each other out when there are troubles, and ending abusive behaviors. It’s that simple, but a lot of us seem to have trouble with these things.

Can we finally be unified as a society? I’m not sure, but I hope so.

posting more soon,
