According to the CDC in recent news, Autism Spectrum Disorders affects more people than previously known.  1:150 people have an autism spectrum disorder.

Most people don’t realize that most psychiatrists are classified as either a general psychiatrist or an asperger’s specialist.  Most psychiatrists do not know how to diagnose asperger’s syndrome/disorder and autism spectrum disorders.   But, some that don’t are learning how to realize the difference in asperger disorder/syndrome.
