The Death of the Bozo the Clown

We need to mourn The death of Bozo the Clown because he was a symbol for many children throughout the ages dating back to the creator Larry Harmon who created the franchise of Bozo the Clown. Though, I learned that he wasn’t the original Bozo the Clown.

Rest in Peace Bozo the Clown…

here is a good story to read on Bozo the Clown from the associated press:

It was written by John Rogers.

Does anybody remember BOZO THE CLOWN?

The way to a better future

Sometimes people need to part from certain people since not everyone is destined to go through life with everyone. Some people are destined to go with certain people leaving others to go in a different direction of destiny. For instance, the New York Mets had to part with their manager Willie Randolph and for that matter things happen for a reason. Tim Russert parted from the whole world when he died from a heart attack. All things happen for a reason and may be it was time for New York Mets and Willie to move on or may be it was time for the world to see in themselves the kind of way that Tim Russert had taught all of us.

We won’t realize it at first what people that leave us teach us, but after a while you realize that this person really taught me something and I understand now that it was not forever.

There are certain people that always will be around your whole life and those people will always be there when things are down or when things are up. For everybody those people are different.

People are in and out of our lives for a reason, the ones that stay and the ones that go. Eventually though these people in your life are no longer there for you because it comes to the end of your life when time continues and you must enter the light yourself.

We must not think of that now. All we must think about is getting through our lives the best way we can.

There have been so many different people coming in and out of my life while at the same time there are people that were in my life and then come back for a specific reason. That reason only we know about. That reason could be to show those people that we have changed in a very positive way and to show the success we have all made.

Asperger Syndrome is a one of a kind neurological condition for me that makes me feel great. I have come to realize the positive attributes to the neurological difference and I seem wonder that I am learning at baby steps.

Neurotypicals tend to know the same stuff right when they are born and tend to learn the rest very quickly.

I am thankful that I had some early intervention, but I still have a long road trip to go in the learning process.

Just remember that life has a journey with many people involved, people come, people go, people stay, people come back, and people even go again. This is a journey for us all and there are lessons to be learned not just when you were a kid in school.

Learning from one another in any Career…

There are many ways in which we can learn.  Learning from one another is the sanctuary of our life.  We learn everyday, but the best thing in the whole world to learn from is from those that know things better than us because they have lived it.  Colleagues in careers have lived through many things that some of us just starting out in a couple of years have never lived through.  Take for instance the learning curve of a field that is highly skilled and takes much experience to do like Echocardiography.  People that feel they know it right out of school are those that are going to fail, but those that feel they can always learn more and more will learn and succeed.  Learning takes time.  I know I am learning at a pace that is very slow and when I don’t know something at first I get frustrated, but I must admit I do not know.  If not, I am only fooling myself.   To learn Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound together takes practice and time.  Not everybody has the time and the patience to learn both aspects of this field.   Every body learns at different paces, but still it takes many years to do so.  George who seems like a superstar is constantly learning something new and if he his learning new things where he is highly advanced than every body should be learning new things as well. Like he always told me that every day I should bring home one or more pearls of wisdom a day from something I just learned.

In any case, Here is a quote from Billy Wagner the Mets Closer who is a superstar but is always learning from other people like Trevor Hoffman a closer with the Padres.

“I’ve always watched him to see what he does and how he handles himself and adversity. We’ve been All-Star [Games] in the same year three times, and I love to spend time with him and pick his brain,” Wagner said. “We don’t throw the same. Our games are nothing alike, but I can still learn from him. He doesn’t have five hundred-what-ever-he has for no reason.”

Take those words to your career and remember them because they pertain to us all.  Learn from the people around you that have been around longer.

Giving out TMI

When we give out Too Much Information people tend to either tell us that we give out too much information or they tend to laugh and run with it telling the whole world.  Gossip is very big in this world, it is human nature, and everyone loves it.

Why? Because they just do.

Think of it like this, when we gossip our impulses give in and we strive for more gossip and more gossip and more gossip until the day that no one can trust anybody because every one has gossiped so much that it leads on to a different road.  A road that is more traveled then less traveled.

The road less traveled is quieter and easier to go down because there are no gossipers whatsoever and we can get things done a lot better.

My grandma feels that no body can ever be alone, yet she can never be alone because there are many people like myself who like to be alone sometimes.   Being alone in a forest by Walden Pond for example is nice sometimes to collect your thoughts and be your own.

Yet, sometimes we must be with people so that we are not completely alone. It is called Balancing your life.

Solitude is good, people are good, so why not both 50/50.

Being with people is hard when it is an impulse to reveal too much information about oneself.   That is why we should all be in solitude at some points during the day.  Yet, another person I know says that life is a learning process and that we need to learn from our mistakes when talking to other people.

Eventually we should be able to attain the teachings from ourself that the eternal one wants us to learn.   Some people just feel that everything takes time.  Time is what is going on now as I type.   Things become the past and we must move forward in each second of time.

Hopefully we learn from the mistakes eventually.   Some people like the Senior community will not really learn new things or change their ways because they are already set in their ways and will pass on to the next…

Anyway, learn and keep learning trying to attain the guidance from other people who know better than you.   The ones that don’t know better and are bad influences stay away from.

In essence, we should be in solitude some of the time. That is the best way for us to live especially when Aspies like me tend to like that.

Poetry and Commentary

happy, happy, joy, joy ever since I was a young boy.  NOT, that is just jibberish…

here is a poem I just wrote called American Dream:

I live in you
You live in me
I live inside the
place where you found me.
I was sitting by a rock
so cold and shivering.
My mind was desperate
to get out my frustrations
about what happened the previous day.
I lost life, I lost my soul
and then you found me sitting near a pole.
The pole had leaves and wooden branches
that were falling down upon me.
I can’t believe my eyes,
I fell asleep for so long until
you found me.
So much has gone wrong
so much has been troubling
and so much has been
consuming me until
you came and found me.
I thank you, I thank you so
dearly, for now I am not
by myself on a stoop
instead I am living a dream
an American Dream of mine
that will grow stronger and
stronger till the day I am
old and gray lying on my
deathbed.
Think of what will bring
us the happiness to me
and to us all, a  time
telling event for the everlasting
strengths of our goals.
An American Dream says it all.

That is the poem I just wrote.

Anyway, ARDMS is simply the best.  I feel that I am going to achieve my goals.  I reached part of it, and soon to reach all of it. Yet, some people are jealous because of this, but what can I say, I am doing it anyways.

Has anyone ever seen a leg so swollen with Deep Vein Thrombosis that it looks so blue all over that the leg feels very painful to the patient? That is called Phelgmasia Cerulea Dolens.   It is severe Deep Vein Thrombosis that is rare these days because Vascular Technologists like myself use Duplex Sonography to check for DVT all the time these days. Yet, before Duplex Sonography this was probably a very common occurance.

Anyway, a very painful Arterial finding is Acute Arterial Insufficiency when the leg is very painful, white, numb, tingling, and with no pulses throughout the leg especially because the leg has been injured. This is life threatening and the patient can lose a leg.

Smoking cigarettes is very dangerous because it causes Chronic Arterial Insuffiency, Aneursyms, Stroke, and Coronary Artery Disease leading to Heart Attack because it catalyzes the atherosclerotic process.

Vascular Ultrasound is an up and coming field more so than Echocardiography because more people are in dire need of help in their legs, arms, even with kidney failure leading to dialysis receiving a fistula or an dialysis access graft.  Also, more people seem to be getting aortic aneurysms as a result of smoking cigarettes.

I love Vascular Ultrasound so much.  I love the whole circulatory system and some day would like to achieve more than just being a tech, in which to get my ph. D.  and do research.

I am lucky to be a part of the ARDMS and I hope they are lucky to have me in the registry.

The thing that draws Vascular Ultrasound away from Echocardiography is that people are dying from heart attacks, but more people are suffering from many arterial problems, deep vein thrombosis, chronic venous insufficiency, and even carotid artery disease.

The thing is though that many people are going in to this now, but it takes years and years of practice to learn how to understand one side of the body to the next using critical thinking.   It took many years for George to get where he needed to be at.

I want to be at that same level or greater, yet I feel like I am only scratching the surface.

Anyway, having Asperger Syndrome has been an extraordinary journey in my life and I have many more achievements to make in this life.

Hope you enjoyed the poem in this post and the commentary,
