And how, pray tell, does an organization that barely funds services and puts its research funds into genetic research rather than research to improve communication and education opportunities to help empower Autistic people to communicate serve those who have not yet been empowered to do so? Autism Speaks’ exploitation hurts all people on the spectrum and our families. In fact, in many ways, they exploit those with the most significant impairments most of all.

Have you ever seen some of the individuals who do not have the ability to communicate the way that you do? No child or adult should have to live without communication, with behaviors so severe that they hurt themselves and others badly. It’s great that you are happy the way that you and about to get your point across. Many other individuals cannot.
