The Definition of Virtue

Aristotle once said “Virtue…is a state of character concerned with choice, lying in a mean, i.e, the mean relative to us, this being determined by a rational principle, and by that principle by which the man of practical wisdom would determine it….is best and right an extreme.” This quote is written from Aristotle’s book II.  It is a mere essence of our desires to show virtue in what comes from patience. What would Aristotle define Patience as?  Well, the Unabridged Webster’s Dictionary defines patience by saying an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay.  By saying Patience is a Virtue we are saying that it is by far an extreme right we all should develop.  Many people lack patience and want things to happen right away which is why many other people who do believe in a Cure for Autism believe it since I believe these people lack much patience in the world.   Even the people only seeking causes for Autism lack patience.  Autism is around for a reason and always has been around.  The 20 and 21 Centuries brought about lack of patience in the world.  Many people just want everything done right away. Whatever happened to the good old days of the 1800’s or even before then when people strive for teaching and allowing people on the Autism Spectrum who were very smart to become great inventors, idealists, painters, musicians, etc.  These people should be seen as role models.  I know it is very hard to diagnose dead people with an Autism Spectrum, but this is a known fact Autism is an important factor in the this world to bring Goodness in to the world.  Forget about some of the negative and just think about the children with Autism, Adults with Autism, and even seniors who have Autism right now who can make this world a better place to live.  I strongly agree with Temple Grandin in her book Animals in Translation.  People don’t want to know this, but I feel also animals and Autistics are very similar in the mind.   Many animals and for that matter all living organisms are vital in this world for the world to live.  Neurotypical people which is the majority of the world neglect many living organisms.   The neglect shows because of the  negative destructive wars and anger in this world. No body should neglect any living organism not even the cells in our own human body. We are all precious living creatures.

The recent fighting all over the war has been disgusting and appalling to see and hear about. The economic mess has been appalling to even hear of the impatience and greed in this world. It all boils down to virtue and some people just lack virtue. It is an honor for a person to even have virtue these days since so many people lack it. Greed and impatience brings down a person who is on the Autism Spectrum because then we feel like no body cares of our existence. I am very thankful to have my mother who has the most virtue and patience a person can have. My mother is one of the rare people in this world I can call a true person.

I think it is because Carl Rogers is right. Thank you mom for being the person the world should look up to. I know you are not perfect, but at least there are things in this world many other people can recognize and honor in you.

I know it is early, so I will wrap this up in a moment and definitely post later on.

Take it easy and be patient,

OUT, J
