Loving my Asperger Syndrome

MTV true life about autism was pretty good tonight.  I enjoyed the episode.  I enjoy my asperger syndrome most of the time especially when things are positive around me. I feel that thinking positive will do that, but I would like to add one thing to thinking positive, the people around you have to positive for you too.  If that doesn’t occur, how else are positive things going to happen.  I am crossing my fingers that a very positive thing happens for me this week that is supposed to happen from someone I know.  I will not tell anybody about it until it happens.  I shouldn’t open my presents before I even have it.

Anyway, Elijah, Jeremy, and Jonathan were great on the show tonight and they showed immense courage in what MTV showed them doing. Elijah being a comic in las vegas, Jeremy making strides in friendship and have a party, and Jonathan showing his art in new york city.

My art lies in writing poetry and stories, with drawings I make also.   Asperger syndrome is not really a syndrome at all, its just like another culture of people that people need to accept.

Anyway, just wanted to say that writing this website which hopefully will get very impressive, will create positive attitudes.

adios mis amigos,

Info on Vascular Technology

Vascular Technology is a up and coming sect of Ultrasound that is totally different from echocardiography. Vascular Technology deals with more types of tests than just echo that deals with only two kinds of tests, echo rest, echo stress.

Vascular Technology does many different types of tests like the Arterial non-invasive testing such as Pulse Volume Recording and Segmental Pressure testing, Deep Vein Thrombosis DVT studies of the lower extremities mostly, and Carotid Duplex Ultrasound and Transcranial doppler studies. These are the basics in Vascular testing. There are also upper extremity scanning which entails dvt, AV grafts/fistulas, arterial mapping, vein mapping,… Anyway, to tell you the truth Vascular testing is one of the most hardest sects of ultrasound to scan than any other sect of ultrasound. Plus, it is one of the most interesting sects of ultrasound.

This is a part of ultrasound where you are pretty much thinking and making up your mind for the doctor and you must know your knowledge like the back of your hand or like second nature.

Ultrasound by following the vessels in the body especially veins are very carefully and throughly checked by experienced technologists.

Next time you get a vascular test scan pay particular attention to how to the tech is scanning because it is very much different from any echo or general tech scanning.

A lot of the time they have to make sure in as quickly, efficiently, and throughly as possible that they don’t miss anything that they got from the physical examination and/or from what the doctor wanted the tech to look at, and by what us techs ask the patient about symptoms.

Vascular technology is very cool and there will be more to come to talk about it later on…

When Honor’s at stake…

When your honor is at stake, what do you do? do you continue to cross the same bridge or stop and turn around and go across another bridge? How do you know when your honor is at stake? It seems like a good question, right. Well, sometimes it happens in life for whatever reason. Its a riddle that we can not answer of why or how it happens.

Changes are hard, but sometimes just sometimes you just have to do it. Being afraid of changes is like being afraid your world will collapse by changing even though that is not true at all. Just think about Mitch Albom’s book, The five people you meet in heaven, his quote “All endings are also beginnings, we just don’t know it at the time.”

Me and my fellow aspies tend to think that change will frustrate the situation more and not let us continue to be the person who we are. Avoidance is a good thing to a point, but when it is preventing you from doing what you need to do in your life that is when it becomes a problem. Avoidance is a defense mechanism that most asperger people like myself use to not face up to our responsiblities and the consequences are endless by just avoiding.

Facing up to the world and doing the things that need to be done is the only way to get to where you want to be. Whether your current situation is doing well or doing bad needing change, you need to remember what your beliefs are and not let your honor be at stake.

There are many nasty people at there and also many nice people too, but with the nasty people that manipulate and destroy the credibility of your honor towards you, you seem to wonder, ‘why am I even with these people in the first place?’

Change needs to happen just because you see you are going no where fast with something in your life and things need to change to get yourself going somewhere. Whether its an attitude change or realizing your potential in something that will make you greater than what you are in your current situation. It all goes back to your honor and self-worth. Everyone wants to feel worthy and honorable, when you are getting neither then that is when you need to change the something in your life that is very painful to even accept or is it really painful at all. May be its just very saddening that it seems painful.

You must do things in life that make you happy and that will give you pleasure when doing it.

anyway, posting later on,

anybody should try out improv and just do it like nike,

Improvisation is very good for the mind

Tonight I did improvisation with friends through the SportzComedy, Inc.  in new york city. It was fun and exciting.  I enjoyed myself very much.  Improv is very good for the mind because it helps people think on the feet going by the first thing that comes to their minds.  Especially people who have problems with confidence and developing the brain so that one learns to act on their instincts not afraid to be made fun of. There were many imrov games played and I participated in them.  Think like this, what is the first thing that comes to your mind before you talk. Please, don’t be afraid, it might just be funny.

comments are welcome for improvisation on this website so don’t be afraid to comment. I will post them if they are appropriate enough to be shown.

anyway, I am a bit tired and I have a lot going on tomorrow to do for myself.

goodnight, y’all.
